Springing to life from the mind of Amelia Chen one day in 2012, Geeks In Malaysia began their podcasting journey on the 1st of June that same year with their first episode, not knowing what they were doing, what the podcast would become or where it would go. Over the years through many more recordings, the geeks are still not sure what they are doing. Khairil M Bahar would like you to call him Khai if it wasn't for similarly named Malaysian pop stars constantly appearing. Khairil is a filmmaker who makes feature films but pays his bills shooting Youtube ads for companies who've never seen his movies. Khairil can also kill you by staring at your genitalia.

Amelia has been a geek ever since her dad first sat her down to watch OG Knight Rider when she yay high. Growing up on a steady diet of pop culture TV, Amelia’s favourite fandoms include : Star Wars AND Star Trek, Doctor Who, Disney, Whedonverse, Anime and Marvel.
NICK DORIAN
Growing up, Nick lived in a world filled with superheroes, Italian plumbers and mutant turtles.. As he got older, that world expanded more with time lords, Deloreans and of course Kevin Smith, shaping the geek he is today.
